"We the citizens of Mullingar would like to invite you to come to the middle of Ireland to spread some good will and christmas cheer.

Celebrate with us the beginning of Christmas holidays with FREE Open air Music Concerts (dedicated to the memory of our own Joe Dolan), and Magical Market Stalls, Quality Shops, Rated Restaurants, Brilliant Bars, Pedestrianised, Streets, Dance Troops, Marching Bands, Rock Bands, Pop Bands, Choirs, Orchestras, Singers, Theatre Groups, Special Guests Acts, Santy and his Helpers and a host of Events and Entertainment to capture your imagination and help banish those winter blues.

We will also be attempting to break The Guinness World Record for the most people gathered in one place at the same time wearing SANTY HATS and raise some much needed funds for The Lions Club Christmas food appeal.

The place will be Mullingar Town Centre, the time will be 3pm on Sunday December 6.

So if its Music and Markets, Shopping and World Records you're after, come to Mullingar in The Middle of Ireland."
